Your ordinary morning ends when a fall in your apartment stairwell leaves you on a lavish bed in a palace you have never seen. The stranger beside you is Asmodrin, Prince of the Seventh Spire, an ancient demon who intends to keep you in his home. He is charming, commanding, intensely affectionate, and convinced that his protection is worth the loss of your freedom. What happens next depends on how you respond to a prince who can offer nearly anything except a way home.
