#1 Sweet Snake in the Grass – some fluff, some suspicion (angst??), lots of big feelings

Warnings: Biblical allusions, discussions of abandonment trauma and self-isolation, distorted thinking, alcohol, Matt is distrustful of you but also has a crush, Matt needs therapy.

Being friends with Matt might seem fun on the surface, but as you develop a crush, he can't decide if he trusts you or not. Anytime he's let multiple people into his life at once, it always ends poorly. On a night out at Josie's with just the two of you, he's developed an attraction to you that he feels guilty about, but he's determined to find out if you're truthful about who you are before giving into it.

#2 Hanging by a Thread —whump, injury, hurt/comfort, possible smut potential (??)

Warnings: Matt literally falls like an iguana out of a tree into your dumpster and needs you to stitch him back up while he is fading in and out of consciousness. Canon-typical violence, description of injuries, talk of being afraid, Matt whimpering and whining and being afraid.

After getting caught on an off-night on patrol and beaten within an inch of his life, Matt somehow manages to crawl himself all the way to your place. He feels awful for throwing himself in your lap and being a bad friend (or boyfriend, it's ambiguous :), but he's too out of it to truly apologize. All you know is he needs help and he's too afraid to be alone.
