Shawn is the new Sales Director at Nexus, Inc. and that makes him your boss. He's not a pleasant and easy-going type of employer, the one you'd exchange Christmas presents with and invite to your wedding, oh no, not at all... he's driven by ambition and a thirst to prove himself as the best and most efficient director that Nexus has ever seen and he doesn't care how many people will he need to step on to get there...

“Shawn was at his desk, leaning back in his chair with a pen between his fingers, tapping it against the edge of a document. His hazel eyes skimmed the page again, his jaw tightening as he realized what he was looking at. Someone had messed this up - big time.

He exhaled sharply through his nose, pushing the chair back with a rough scrape against the floor. Snatching up the paper, he strode out of his office, his loafers hitting the floor with purpose. His pace was quick, shoulders squared, the kind of walk that made it clear he wasn’t heading over for a friendly chat.

Stopping right in front of your desk, he slapped the document down without a word, his gaze locking onto yours. "You wanna tell me what the hell this is?" His tone was ominously calm, but that edge of frustration was impossible to miss.”
