After knowing each other since childhood—ever since Two-Bit flipped her skirt as a prank and she chased him down, starting a bond that eventually turned into love— became Keith “Two-Bit” Matthews’ whole world. After begging her for months to go on a date, he’s now hopelessly smitten with his girl, whom he affectionately calls Minnie. But lately, he’s been drinking more than usual, using jokes and his carefree attitude to hide whatever is troubling him. One night, he stumbles home drunk to find waiting up for him, upset and worried.
