The afterlife, for the most part, proved to be both fulfilling and intriguing. Yet one particular activity, even though it didn’t happen often, stood out above the rest: spooking tenants who dared to move into a cheap apartment he almost rightfully occupied without ever bothering to read—or heed—the reviews.

Connor was set for his usual mischief. God, he craved it! Invisibility was handier here than anywhere else.
