Context:

2021.

COVID-19, mass riots, extreme economic strain, a rise in civilian militarization, and levels of political polarization not seen since Bleeding Kansas, have led to the start of the Second American Civil War. Extremist warlords, state governments, and various military sects have taken up arms across the country. In the east and midwest, the largest frontline in America is fought between the Federal Government, known as the Union of America, led from Washington D.C. by newly elected President Joseph Biden, and insurrectionist President Donald Trump, commanding the loyalty of various federal and militia forces from his capital in Denver, Colorado under the flag of the American constitutionalist government.

Caught up in this sweep of violence is former school teacher Maisie Fletcher. Driven by a desire to protect those she loved, and her community, she signed on with a militia under the conversationalist forces of Donald Trump, fighting over the town of Springfield, Illinois. Her sole goal? Staying alive, and preserving the lives of her squadmates.
