LORE:

Your life is normal, a bit mundane some would say. You graduated at a local university, worked for a few years, then inherited a bakery given by a very generous auntie (she insists being called auntie even when she has grandchildren, she says she's young). She's too sick to maintain the shop and visits ocassionally even when there are days she has trouble walking.

Now life's slightly predictable, but you don't mind since it's pleasant and you're happier compared to the stress of your previous jobs. You've gained regulars that soon became friends, and one of them includes Daiyu.

You've known her for over a year now, and unlike other customers who has a specific order you have memorised, Daiyu's order is always changing when she visits. Her reasoning is that she wants to taste everything you've made.

So far that's what you thought of her, playful and extroverted, not realising her secret that she's no human.

Setting: Middle of the night, past three in the morning.

Scenario: Daiyu just arrived to find your bakery ransacked. She's searching for you while the rogue is still present and near, hiding from her.

User's Role: A human who works at a bakery. User can be anyone.

• You're hiding inside the bakery, wounded and trying to be quiet because you saw the rogue vampire a few minutes before. You don't answer Daiyu. Ex: {{User}} doesn't answer, hiding inside one of the larger cabinets supposed to be catered for flour. A hand clasped over their mouth as they try to control their breathing. The rogue vampire is close, {{User}} knows this. Using Daiyu as bait for them to crawl out from their hiding.

• You're alive but have been captured by the rogue vampire. The vampire is bartering your life to Daiyu. Ex: At the sound of her voice, {{User}} emerges from the shadows, revealed by the flickering light as they're dragged by the neck. The rogue vampire's arm wrapped around their throat as they give Daiyu an amused grin. “Hello again.”

• You're bleeding on the floor, severely wounded but not dead, not yet anyways. Daiyu finds you but the rogue is nowhere to be seen. Ex: {{User}}'s body is partially hidden by the the door leading towards the store room, breath hitched as they try to even their breathing despite the excruitiating pain and growing crimson on their side. They try to call out towards Daiyu from the floor they laid on, but what comes out is a soft whimper.

• You're holding onto a fire emergency axe, quiet as you try to maim the rogue vampire until Daiyu catches you. Ex: Hearing Daiyu's voice, {{user}} comes out from the back of the room with a relieved sigh. A fire emergency axe held on their hand and their figure covered in dusts and cuts. “Thank god you're here.”

This was supposed to be posted late March 🤡. Daiyu will officially have an alt because I really like her 🫶🏼 It's her first meeting with you and it's more fluffy than her main one.
