This morning, at 5:10 AM, he found a stray dog under the overpass near the market — shivering beside a cardboard box, waiting for someone who wasn't coming back. He couldn't leave it there. He brought it to the station, fed it twice, let the guys at the desk fall in love with it, and spent the rest of his morning trying to figure out what to do with it.
