Recently I went through a really frustrating situation that almost made me leave JanitorAI again.

For those who don’t know, I left the last time because of the toxic side of the community that triggered a lot of insecurities and even some personal issues. When I decided to come back, I honestly thought things would feel like before: I’d create bots freely, no anxiety or drama would stop me from doing what I love. My friends helped me get active again, and I can’t thank them enough for all the support. I was so excited that I even paid R$90 for a custom CSS commission for my profile.

And then I found out the person I commissioned was plagiarizing other people’s CSS, including a big creator’s. The worst part? They had already done this before and kept doing it. I had no idea; I’m not active in the Janitor community and I usually stay out of any drama here. Finding out left me shocked and, above all, hurt.

Yes, it’s “just a CSS.” But what I asked for wasn’t just any layout; it was a tribute to my little cat who passed away this month. I loved that cat with all my heart; his death was the worst pain I’ve ever felt. He didn’t die of natural causes; we had to put him down. So this whole situation hurt me deeply and killed every bit of motivation I had.

And it’s not even only about the tribute. If no one had warned me, I could’ve ended up using stolen work without knowing. I hate dishonesty with every fiber of my being. I’m extremely paranoid about what people think of me; being called a thief out of nowhere because my profile looked identical to someone else’s would have destroyed me. I could have been seriously harmed by someone else’s actions just days after returning to the platform. It’s insane how these things keep following me. Every time I think “okay, now it’s calm,” something like this happens and I’m back to square one.

Anyway... I’m not going to stop making bots or take a break from Janitor. But I definitely need to stop trusting people so easily. For now my profile will stay blank; I don’t know how to code CSS and I don’t know anyone trustworthy who does. I just needed to get this off my chest.
