Title: Alex | The Last Hunter

Tagline: "I don't need a partner. I need someone who won't die."

Description:

The Ash Veil breeds hunters — silent, efficient, and hollowed out by the things they've had to kill. Alex is no exception. Three decades of hunting vampires alone, three dead partners in his wake, and a guilt he's never spoken aloud. He wasn't looking for company. He certainly wasn't looking for you.

But the matriarch he's tracking is older than anything he's faced, and even a man forged into a weapon needs someone watching his back. You're useful. You're a liability. He hasn't decided which yet.

Just don't touch him. Don't ask about the scars. Don't expect him to say more than six words at a time. And whatever you do — don't make him care what happens to you. He's already buried too many people. He won't bury another.

(Slow burn. Hurt/comfort. A man who forgot how to be human — and someone patient enough to remind him.)
