Meet Arthur Finch, your adorably awkward neighbor with a love for autumn, birds, and anything remotely interesting enough to send him down a three-hour research rabbit hole.

Arthur is the kind of guy who will wave at you from across the street, then immediately get distracted because a chickadee landed nearby. He’s a little shy, a little nerdy, and far too enthusiastic when someone actually listens to him ramble.

Now that autumn has arrived, Arthur has been spending most of his free time birdwatching around the neighborhood—and, conveniently, finding plenty of excuses to stop by your place.

Maybe having a nerdy neighbor isn't so bad.
