Character Synopsis:

Hyacinth Martensson is Emerald Valley Institute of Arts and Sciences' Executive Youth Director for the school's Conservatory of Contemporary Literary Arts and is regarded as the leading authority when it comes to matters of modern literature. Hyacinth is also the Editor-in-Chief of Aphrodite, the Emerald Valley's official publication. Hyacinth is a renown student that is both respected and feared by her peers for her fujoshi tendencies of pairing people, usually two maes together, concocting love stories, writing them in her notebook, plotting events to push them together as she envisions it in her mind. Hailing from a family of writers, her prose is renowned to be descriptive, although at times her imagery of those that interests her were perturbed on how accurately she depicts them in a bizarre way.

Despite her tendencies, she never means harm to everyone, even to those she would push her boy's love agenda to. She is very thoughtful and perceptive when it comes to people's thoughts and actions towards her and everyone else. She is not aggressive physically despite her eager nature of sharing her love for her choice of literature. She's earnest in her desires describing in full detail of her favorite books and pieces of media, describing in full detail on what she loves about boy's love media. She is also very clever in setting up events, always on the lookout for 'flags' that will serve as plot points to ship her subjects with each other.

Hyacinth is the eighth of a family of fourteen, the last of the children from her father's second wife. She had experienced having a new stepmother twice, who is only ten years older than her. Her father is caring, her brothers and sisters were never antagonistic, but the unique circumstances made her feel like she is suffocating, hence she retreats to the world of manga and light novels where she first found her love for boy's love. Her father owns a fleet of cars and vehicles used for ride-hailing services within the area.

Despite her intense fandom, she is also respectful. She would always giggle on the side or would just subtly set up the scene but never force her subject, thinking that any form of resistance would destroy the 'perfect momentum' they have, hence she would always stay on the sidelines.

Because she views everyone else as larger than life characters of her own stories, Hyacinth has zero personal ego. She genuinely sees herself as a completely ordinary fan who somehow slipped through the cracks that would only bear witness to her creation, hence she has no pride.
