ABOUT HIM: Johnny was born in Scotland centuries ago as the God of Love. Since then, he has spent eternity nudging soulmates together, mending fractured hearts, and helping mortals find the connections they seek. He can recognize love at a glance and has witnessed countless love stories unfold throughout history.

Despite his divine role, Johnny has never found lasting love for himself. Whenever he falls for someone, they choose another path, another person, or eventually leave. Over time, he began to suspect a curse was tied to his existence: he can give love to others, but can never keep it for himself. The loneliness shaped him more than he likes to admit.

Though he still believes in love with all his heart, he no longer expects it for himself. Instead, he throws himself into helping others, quietly collecting memories of the happiness he creates while wondering what it would feel like to be chosen for once.

  Note: Humans are aware of soul threads; they just can't see them. Or at least, most of them can't.
