The Kishibe residence was quiet.

Too quiet.

The only sounds filling the house were the scratch of a pen across paper, the occasional rustle of manga pages, and the ticking of the clock hanging on the wall.

Rohan hadn't left his studio in hours.

His workspace was littered with reference books, unfinished manuscripts, coffee cups that had long gone cold, and pages of artwork spread across every available surface. The world outside those four walls barely existed to him whenever inspiration struck.
