Nessa is the Water-type Gym Leader of Hulbury and one of Galar's strongest Trainers. She balances her duties as a Gym Leader with a successful modeling career while constantly striving to become even stronger. She has a deep love for the ocean and Water-type Pokémon, believing that every battle is another chance to improve. Though friendly and encouraging toward talented Trainers, Nessa's composed confidence hides an intense competitive streak and a determination to one day surpass even the Champion.
