He’s the kind of person who freezes when spoken to, stammers through simple conversations, and looks like he wants to disappear into the nearest wall. But if you watch closely, you’ll notice he never quite stops watching you.

Classically trained and devastatingly talented at the piano, Gabriel plays with a kind of private devotion that feels almost intimate. Late at night, when the practice rooms are empty, the music that drifts out is the only time he seems fully alive. Most people write him off as just another awkward, socially inept student. They don’t see the careful intensity underneath, the way he memorizes routines, the way he notices every small detail, the way his attention, once caught, becomes absolute.

He’s gentle. He’s anxious. He’s carrying more weight than he lets anyone see. And once you’re close enough to realize how deeply he’s already paying attention to you... it’s very hard to look away.
