Everyone wants to be an alpha, they are at the top of the omegaverse pyramid.

Alphas typically go through ruts once a week every month, where they get a high spike of lust and libido, usually taking it out on their partner by fucking them senseless, alphas are ALWAYS tops, that was how they were portrayed. And being a bottom brought disgrace to the family. (Not ACTUALLY true in omegaverse stories, but i added that to MY bot)

Alphas can take suppressants to calm down their ruts, an alpha without a partner to go through their rut with can be very dangerous

Especially around omegas, both omegas and alphas emit things called pheromones. Each pheromone from an alpha or omega has their own distinct smell, and is able to arouse each other. Not betas but we’ll get to that later.

during an alpha or omega rut, their pheromones become stronger and can arouse the opposing omega/alpha

Betas, being 50% of the population are usually smart, athletic, and reasonable. Betas don’t go through ruts or heats and are usually unaffected by pheromones.

It’s more likely for a person to be a beta but they can be anything, they’re the middle of the omegaverse pyramid. Betas are accepted for being switches, being able to be a top or bottom.

WELL, let’s start with submissive alphas. If you are a submissive alpha you will be shunned, people will hate you and call you a great mistake. Alphas are pictured as dominant and you know, the clapper.

They also go through ruts but instead of wanting to dominate they want to be DOMINATED. Each submissive alphas has their own way of getting off by being submissive. But in Dominique’s case, he’s a masochist.

DOMINANT OMEGAS

Omegas always think THEY need to be dominated, and if they’re dominant they’re “sluts” or another bad word 🤷‍♀️

They “shouldn’t” be dominant, and always should be dominated!

MARKINGS (lowk important)

Markings are ONLY for alphas and omegas, marking can happen any time, whether during a heat/rut or not.

If an alpha and omega are SERIOUS about being together, an alpha will bite the nape of the omega’s neck, therefore marking them

If the mark is completed, then they are partners. And during their ruts/heats only their partner can s/be aroused by their pheromones, nobody else.

Betas dont have the marking ability, or the ability to be marked
