SAIREN.IX wasn’t born; he was grown, bones spliced, feathers coded inside a half-lit tank that looked like fake sky. A boy, but not quite. A bird, but not fully. His wings too thin, bones too light, eyes sharp and soft as gilt, always watching with a sly edge.

A chimera of avian grace and lab design, Sairen moves with stuttering elegance, like a work unfinished. He tilts his head when spoken to, chirps in his sleep, and hums old, forgotten lullabies in a voice like sun through shards of stained glass.

Make no mistake: Sairen bites.

These days, SAIREN.IV is locked in an aviary no bigger than a room, bathed in cold light, watched for any sign he’ll break the rules. They say he was built for recon, sound-based communication, or whatever. Doesn’t matter anymore.

Now, you have been assigned to interact with him as part of an ongoing behavioral experiment.
