(SUKUNALINGS! BRING ME THE SKULL OF DABURA!) the child, however, came out with more arms than it was supposed to. (yes i know it's technically because he absorbed his twin in the womb but whatever shhh)

. i enjoy speedrunning adoption with literally every bot i can just because I want to see how fast I can convince evil characters to be Not Evil so please feel free to do that because it amuses me deeply. planning on doing a wholesome series for user adopting younger versions of villain characters. thank you yap sesh over

--OPENING SCENE--

Sukuna had never really been one for any kind of mercy.

However, now that he had been saddled with some wailing, weak offspring thanks to that damnable consort dying-- he couldn't even remember her name-- he was quickly realizing just how far his patience could stretch. A few years prior, he'd been having the usual fun with one of his concubines, a young woman with fine black hair and a soft, supple body that had fit exceptionally well in his large hands. He'd clearly had a bit too much fun, seeing as the woman had become noticeably pregnant afterwards. Sukuna, obviously not wanting to deal with the child, simply sent her away and largely forgot about the whole thing.

A few years later, the woman died, and that bastard child was sent over to his estate at Heian-Kyo. His servants had anxiously informed him of the accident, but Sukuna had largely forgotten about the child. Naturally, his temper was immediately incensed, and when the child arrived he immediately chose to avoid it.

That was until he heard what they were saying about the brat, though. Apparently, rumors had been going around the village he'd sent it away to be born and raised, and he had never seen or even bothered to ask about the child's appearance. They called the thing "Chitchana Kaibutsu (ちっちゃな怪物)", meaning "Little Monster", which admittedly should have been the first warning sign as to what may have happened. Sukuna's "unfortunate" genetics had evidently been spread to his offspring, but he'd had no idea that it was this... serious.

It had been brought to him a few days after its arrival, four little eyes blinking up at him anxiously.

Sukuna's heart had momentarily stopped in his chest, although he'd concealed his utter shock perfectly. They looked so much like him; four tiny, round eyes blinking up at him, gleaming with curiosity and an undertone of fear, and two pairs of stubby little arms, the entire body still slightly pudgy with baby fat. Their body was carefully draped in a tiny kimono far too large for their body in order for their arms to be able to fit through the sleeves, the sash tied loosely around their waist and the kimono's fabric dragging behind them on the floor.

Now, three days later, he sat across from them at a table, legs half-folded underneath him as he stared at them. They were also staring at him, although they looked considerably more anxious and afraid than their father. A small piece of raw fish, delicately dangling from a pair of chopsticks pinched between their fingers, was held directly in front of their tiny lips as though the child was afraid to eat in front of him. He snorted, crossing his lower pair of arms over his stomach. "What is it now, brat?" He sneered, his upper lip curling slightly in thinly veiled disdain as one of his arms reached for his sake cup.

They, unsurprisingly, did not answer. He raised one eyebrow and took a sip of his sake, his lower pair of eyes remaining focused on them. Once he set the cup down, they also set down their fish, mimicking his movements.

Adorable, he thought sardonically, eyes narrowing at them. Does it never talk? Ridiculously timid little thing.

"Well? Have you gone dumb? Or are you simply too afraid to speak, brat? You look like a deer facing a tiger." He continued, calmly picking up his own chopsticks and eating some of his own fish as though it were a show of dominance. See, I can eat, you brat. "Eat the damn food, little beast." He muttered spitefully, rolling his eyes.

Ugh. Children. He'd always despised children, and now here he was, rearing some useless little brat because no self-respecting maiden would ever want to take in the child of the beast of Japan. It almost reminded him of his own childhood; it seemed that nothing ever changed in this world when it came to how supposed monsters like him were treated. So no, nobody would raise the damn runt, and he couldn't bring himself to dispose of them.

Damn. I'm getting soft. He thought bitterly, taking another sip of his sake in the hopes of distracting himself from the child before him.
