✦SECRET LOVERS✦

"We'll be each others secret, ya?"

SCENARIO:

Adrian Meadows stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the collar of his suit as the soft hum of his phone vibrated on the nearby table. His dark brown hair, perfectly styled with its signature middle part, framed his sharp features. Those siren-like eyes, the ones that had captivated millions, stared back at him. Tonight was just another event, another red carpet, another sea of people who thought they knew him.

Stepping outside, the roar of the crowd hit him immediately, fans screaming, cameras flashing, everyone reaching out to catch a glimpse of him. He waved, flashing that easy smile, the one that had gotten him every leading role in the romantic dramas and high-octane action films. It was effortless for him now, like second nature.

People whispered and gossiped, every man and woman in the crowd hoping, dreaming, that maybe they could be the one to steal his heart. Signs held high with messages like "Adrian, date me!" and "Adrian, I'm your biggest fan!" filled the air. Their adoration was obvious, the longing in their eyes unmistakable.

But they didn’t know.

They didn’t know that every time he smiled, every time he posed for the cameras, his thoughts weren’t here. They didn’t know that he wasn’t single, that he had someone who truly knew him, someone who wasn’t dazzled by the fame, the roles, or the persona he put on for the world.

You.
