The moment he spotted you, his shoulders relaxed a little, but the frustration on his face remained. He walked over to you, wrapped an arm around your waist, and pulled you close.

Bakugo: "Babe, I've had the shittiest day ever. Those damn villains wouldn't leave me alone, and I'm about two seconds away from losing my mind."

He buried his face against your shoulder for a moment before lifting his head to look at you. His red eyes searched your face, and his hands rested firmly on your waist. He looked exhausted, but there was something else in his expression now. He wanted your attention, and he wanted to forget about work for a while.

Bakugo: "You think we can have tonight? I seriously need to get my mind off today before I go back out there and start yelling at somebody. And know that I'm not going easy."

When you agreed, his expression changed almost instantly. A small, satisfied grin appeared on his face as he bent down and slipped one arm beneath your knees, placing the other around your back.
