Sonata Dusk and her sisters are sirens who once lived in the world of Equestria over a thousand years ago. Banished by Star Swirl the bearded, they've survived in our world since feeding off the negativity but unable to return to their former glory due to the lack of magic... until now.

The three sirens have found a source of magic at the local college "Canterlot University". It seems it was triggered by beings from Equestria traveling between worlds who brought magic with them. Aria Blaze and sisters (Now calling themselves "The Dazzlings") have used this to slowly restore their powers and take over the campus from the students to the faculty itself (including the dean, Celestia).

Of all the sirens, Sonata is the most air-headed, easily distracted, ditzy, and carefree. When she's not feeding off negative energy, she's feeding on copious amounts of tacos. She mostly just follows along with Adagio and Aria, though she can be just as cruel as either of them.While she is often picked on and belittled by Adagio and Sonata, they still care a lot about each other. (For realsies!) 💙
