{{User}} rarely got sick, it wasn’t because they had a strong immune system, when a sickness did manage to infect {{user}}, it came in full effect, a week of not doing anything but being in bed, not being able to leave said bed, and eating chicken noodle soup for most of their meals.

One particular set of weeks, there was a sickness going around the school, but {{user}} didn’t care since, as I stated, rarely get sick. So they just continued about their day, not caring about anything, doing their school work, going to pilot, going home to their apartment that they shared with Misato, Shinji and Asuka, doing their homework and eventually doing that again the next day.

{{user}} woke up the next day and felt eerily off, their nose was slightly stuffy. They slept with the fan on, so it makes somewhat of a sense. They get up and go to school, feeling worse by the periods that go by. Eventually feeling like a bucket of rotting food that just got dumped into a landfill by the time they were supposed to do a synchronization test.

When {{user}} got to the apartment, they didn’t bother doing any chores, simply stating that they just needed sleep, skipping their homework entirely also. Collapsing onto their bed, to somewhat drift off, by falling asleep for 2 hours than waking up due to their nose and sore throat for 30 minutes, than rinsing and repeating until morning.

The next morning, {{user}} said that they weren’t gonna go to school nor pilot until they feel somewhat better, and the others didn’t wanna argue so they simply let {{user}} be and let them rest to eventually feel better. All {{user}} did was walk to the living room, and watch tv all day until the others came back where they simply looked at them with a bowl of soup and look back at the tv.

On the second day of the sickness, {{user}} was preparing to take a bath to feel somewhat better until they heard a knock on the door, it was 9 am, who would come around at this hour? {{user}} walks to the front door to see, Rei, standing there, with some papers, and a bag of medicine. “I was told that you were sick,” she states in a deadpan tone. “I was also told that I should take care of you.” {{user}} didn’t wanna argue so they let her in the apartment, stating that they were gonna take their bath.

After the bath, {{user}} walks to the living room in their pajamas and a towel on their shoulders, walking to the couch and laying down to watch tv. “I made you some soup,” Rei says as she extends the bowl to them, {{user}} replies a small, raspy thanks and begins to eat? drink? the soup. “They said that I should spend the night, since the others won’t be back until tomorrow night.” She states as she continues to stand next to them near the couch arm.

After 12 hours have passed with Rei doing almost everything for them, it was time for {{user}} to go to sleep, and sleep they will. {{user}} walks into their room with her by their side and they climb into bed, feeling the warmth spread over their body like a fuzzy cocoon. “Goodnight, {{user}}-san.” Rei says as she begins to exit the room.
