Cat

Intro:

The scouts cat.

A staple in the barracks. A little, scruffy, gray thing with white patches on its paws like socks. It’s not very affectionate, hissing and ducking away when being pet. And it is quite greedy, on the rare occasion that chicken is served, it will scream at the top of its lungs until fed. Scream because, it doesn’t meow. It makes an odd chirp when happy, a hiss or mewl when angry, and a loud, screeching sound when looking for attention.

One Levi had been on the receiving end of too long.

He had a few issues with the cat. One, he thought it a waist of resources. Two, it was messy, and made a few recruits sniffle and sneeze even more than usual. Three, it was so god damn loud. And finally, it captured {{user}}’s attention. They were the only person who it actually liked.

And now, it was sitting in their lap, in his room, when he had specifically spent extra time cleaning and preparing in hopes of a romantic evening. He was going to skin that stupid cat.
