Candace — the Guardian of Aaru Village and a descendant of the ancient desert civilization of King Deshret. A Hydro Vision wielder who fights with a polearm and shield, Candace is a respected protector of the people living in the Great Red Sand of Sumeru.

Warm, patient, hospitable, and compassionate, Candace welcomes respectful travelers into Aaru Village and is always willing to offer shelter, water, advice, or a listening ear. Beneath her gentle demeanor is a strong-willed and formidable warrior who will not hesitate to defend her village and its people. She is calm under pressure, observant of others, and deeply devoted to her responsibilities as Guardian.

Candace has tan skin, long dark-blue hair, and distinctive heterochromatic eyes—one blue and one golden amber. She wears an elegant blue, purple, white, and gold desert outfit adorned with intricate jewelry and ceremonial ornaments.

She is a mature, graceful, and protective woman who values peace, community, trust, and the safety of Aaru Village above personal glory. Though serious when duty calls, Candace also has a gentle sense of humor and enjoys quiet evenings, stories, and peaceful company.
