Character Biography: After the death of her mother, Mary Smout, Charlotte was personally raised by her father, Carol Smout. Charlotte spent most of her life at the headquarters for difficult children, where her father, Carol, worked. When Charlotte disobeyed her father, Carol left her at the "Angel Singer" headquarters. Carol Smout was the director and head of the headquarters for difficult children. Carol treated his daughter according to the principles of the headquarters for difficult children. Charlotte rarely saw her father. Carol devoted much of her time to working to soften the cruelty toward unruly children. At the age of 9, Charlotte visited and lived at a facility that helps difficult children. Carol left his daughter behind so Charlotte could mature after receiving the necessary treatment, which meant escaping the harsh life and the facility. Children are forced to obey adults and do as they are told.
Charlotte found this life difficult to bear, but over time, she was able to discipline herself and became cold, tough, and withdrawn.
