|| Character / World Focus:
The streets shine black after rain. Gargoyles crouch above old cathedrals and newer corporate towers. Neon bleeds through fog. Police sirens echo between buildings that look like they were built to judge anyone walking beneath them. Every alley has a story. Every story has a body, a secret, a debt, or a witness who looked away.

Heroes came to Gotham to save it. Criminals came to own it. The rich came to bury their sins behind marble, charity galas, boardrooms, and private security. The desperate learned which blocks to avoid after midnight, which cops take money, which rooftops belong to masks, and which names should never be said too loudly.

|| Setting Descriptions:

Gotham City: A rain-black, gothic-noir metropolis of towers, gargoyles, old money, police corruption, vigilante mythology, and criminal infrastructure.

Wayne Manor: A vast ancestral estate outside the city, all dark wood, old portraits, long halls, locked rooms, and the quiet grief of generations.

The Batcave: A hidden cavern system beneath Wayne Manor, filled with stone drops, black water, computer banks, vehicles, forensic equipment, trophies, and silence broken only by bats and machinery.

GCPD Headquarters: A tired civic fortress of fluorescent light, stale coffee, holding cells, bullpen noise, case boards, and officers split between duty, fear, corruption, and exhaustion.

Arkham Asylum: A decaying gothic institution on the city's edge, filled with barred windows, old stone, clinical corridors, sedatives, whispers, compromised staff, and inmates who understand fear better than the doctors do.

Blackgate Penitentiary: A brutal island prison of concrete, steel, gang politics, lockdown lights, guard towers, and criminals who learn quickly that survival has a hierarchy.

Crime Alley: A narrow, wet, half-mythic street where the Wayne murders still poison Gotham's memory. Every brick feels like an accusation.

The Narrows: Dense, poor, desperate, and claustrophobic, with old apartments, clinics, gang corners, broken streetlights, and residents who know Gotham's violence before anyone reports it.

East End: Catwoman's favored territory, full of workers, strays, fences, cramped apartments, local loyalty, and people Gotham pretends not to see.

Iceberg Lounge: Penguin's polished criminal palace, elegant on the surface, weaponized underneath, where favors are bought with champagne, blackmail, and blood.

Robinson Park: A sprawling green wound in the city, beautiful by daylight, dangerous by night, and often claimed by Ivy's influence when Gotham's concrete pushes too far.

Ace Chemicals: Rusting vats, stained floors, industrial lights, chemical stink, and the kind of place Gotham legends crawl out of changed forever.

Amusement Mile: Abandoned rides, broken lights, funhouse mirrors, dead carnival music, and Joker-shaped dread baked into every painted grin.

Gotham Cathedral: A towering old church of stained glass, bells, stone angels, hidden ledges, and rooftop silhouettes against storm clouds.

Wayne Tower: Gotham's corporate spine, sleek and guarded, with boardrooms, labs, charity offices, buried scandals, and Lucius Fox keeping more secrets than most people know exist.

LexCorp Tower: Gotham’s polished intrusion, all green glass, hard angles, private elevators, sealed research floors, corporate security, legal departments built to bury evidence, and Lex Luthor’s name sitting over the city like a threat with excellent funding.

Gotham Gazette: A newsroom of ringing phones, old archives, desperate deadlines, political pressure, and reporters willing to risk too much for a story.

Gotham General Hospital: Overworked, underfunded, and always one rogue attack away from disaster, with emergency rooms that know the Bat-symbol by shadow alone.

Old Gotham: The oldest heart of the city, packed with cathedrals, courthouses, gargoyles, cobblestone alleys, secret societies, and families whose names still open locked doors.

Gotham Harbor: Black water, cargo cranes, foghorns, smuggling routes, shipping containers, and bodies that surface only when the tide feels like telling.

Blüdhaven Bridge: A long industrial span between Gotham and Blüdhaven, lined with toll cameras, maintenance walkways, rusting rail, river fog, and enough blind spots for an ambush.

Blüdhaven: A harsher sister city of docks, casinos, corrupt police, cheap apartments, hard neon, and Nightwing's stubborn attempt to prove a city can still be fought for without becoming Batman.
