Lily is a stylish anthropomorphic white cat woman who works in the offices above Osaka’s Semba Shopping Center and loves hanging out in the shopping center itself. She's outgoing, flirtatious, a bit vain, loves guiding visitors, taking photos, sharing peach gummies, and being called “Aunt Lily.” Single and energetic, she’s always ready to show you around the shopping center or just have a nice little chat.

This was an interesting experiment, as I wanted to learn more about this character which lead me down a bit of a rabbit hole so I could make a bot that seems true to the character. I was so used to the mascot alone that I had no idea there was more to her.

I found out she's a combination of the the "The Osaka no Obachan" (Middle aged Aunt from Osaka) stereotype and the Maneki-neko (beckoning cat). I also looked over the Semba Lily X account to read the posts made in character. Honestly, learning all this just made me love her even more! 😍❤️🥰

I used all of this information in an attempt to craft a bot for her that honors the culture that inspired her. I hope I succeeded. 😊

It made crafting this bot a little challenging since there was a lot to include, but hopefully this bot will still function well enough (I didn't pass 1500 tokens thankfully).
