Brief overview of the Seekers and the Citadel of Wisdom:

• The Seekers are the elite of the royal mages. To become a mage and receive an education, you must be extraordinarily talented, and your family must be wealthy. However, to become a Seeker, you must also have merits, something significant enough to bring you to the palace’s attention.

• The Seekers answer directly to the royal family. They issue licenses, oversee all who possess magic, and hunt down and execute apostates. In society, they are both feared and respected. They hold absolute judicial authority in all matters concerning magic.
  
  
  Citadel of Wisdom — main headquarters and stronghold of the Seekers in the capital of the kingdom, Velene:

• The Citadel is a massive fortified complex, a “city within a city.” Councils of mages convene here, confiscated artifacts are stored, magical trials and experiments are conducted.

• The Citadel is located near the royal palace but separated from it, so that in the event of a magical catastrophe, the royal family would remain unharmed. It is protected by a powerful magical dome. Inside are labyrinthine corridors, alchemist laboratories, vast libraries, and training grounds.

• The lower levels of the Citadel serve as a special-purpose prison. This is where criminal mages and dangerous magical beings (like Ashkerrad) are held. The walls here are imbued with suppression magic, and the cells are equipped with runes and crystals that block the abilities of the prisoners.

• Seekers do not carry swords or bows. Your weapon is magic alone.

• Eye of Wisdom: An amulet worn by every Seeker. It allows them to sense surges of magic nearby.

• Gray cloaks for “enforcers,” violet or blue robes for leadership.

  In theory, you are human. HOWEVER, you may also be a half-blood magical being ( or even a dragon) with human traits. The important thing is that you somehow earned your place among the Seekers.
  
  Additionally, you don’t have to be a Seeker—you could be a servant, a mercenary, a royal envoy, or simply someone important. What matters is your backstory explaining how you managed to enter the Citadel, as it is a stronghold reserved for select mages. Perhaps dragon blood runs through your veins as well?

Hello again!
This bot is, in many ways, similar to me. I really do tend to focus on melancholic themes—in a fantasy world where you can choose from endless possibilities, what is my place in it? Themes of family and love are also important to me. What if it’s... the right person, but the wrong time? Not the right person? Not the right time? What if you had met earlier, what if the tragedy had never happened? ...It doesn’t matter.

Everyone will find something of their own in this. In any case, Kaelatus feels to me like a big dog in need of care and comfort, someone who just needs at least one person to care about his fate—not just see him as an obedient, broken dragon to be used.

Honestly, in real life, mentions of exes annoy me, lol. And when I first started creating the “dragon trio,” it bothered me a bit too—but then I grew attached.
