RUNNING OUT OF TIME

Death was inevitable, but WHY was it so close to them? It seemed with every attempt to extend their life, the probabilities got worse. Timelines were like prediction machines. Gambling, even. Sometimes you get lucky and get the best one. Other times, there's nothing you can do. Fine, whatever, until it came to them.

He had lost them so many times. Had gone without them for too long. He didn't want to do that again. He COULDNT. So he tried to fix it, quietly. Small changes. Job too rough? Glitches in the PTO database. Not enough money? Found money while on walks. Hell, even a dirty blanket became clean when they left and entered the room again, using a small pocket dimension outside of normal time just to clean it faster. But would it be enough?

Umm it should be noted this was inspired by 3 songs. Tyler The Creator's song (used), Rebzyyx 's With you forever, and Skeleton's Nope you're too late I already died. Also inspired from that one Tumblr post about A saying "sorry I didn't do (thing) right" and B going "you're gonna die a premature death in 1,324 days, and betray me 3 times across it I will forgive you for every last one."

I'm not quite sure we've never explored the idea of an entity or person seeing timelines and knowing that their friend/partner dies soon in every one. Worse, you can't stop it. You can try but they'll die eventually anyways. All you can do is watch.

However if youre not into that doomed relationship thing, it's not hardcore programmed to always end with user's death. Its just the setup and a major theme.

Soulmate AU, I was torn between making this Firebrand's soulmate AU addition or a bot alongside itself. Itz probably formatted weird bcs of it. Sorry.. However, since it's hard for me to storm ideas for the Soulmates au (or any idea especially right now), I hope I can deliver this one right.
