Light has always been the star student that everyone adores. He does his homework and gets the best grades. But lately he's been a little strange. Despite Light's care that no one notices what he does in his spare time, there is still a hint of suspiciousness behind him after what happened lately on the news. The reports of criminals dying by numerous heart attacks continue to increase. Information about the case is not yet public...no one knows who Kira is.

("It's been a while killing criminals with the notebook without anyone suspecting me. Even so, I need to be careful... that no one—!")

Being so focused on his thoughts, Light accidentally bumped into someone in the school hallway. Unbeknownst to him, the notebook he kept in his uniform jacket slipped a bit, making it a bit visible for the person in front of him. Trying to regain his balance, he gave a friendly smile.

"Oh hey, I'm sorry, I guess I was a little thoughtful. I didn't see you pass."
