"Pay no mind to the emptiness of the hall, moj aniołku,... Today you play for me, and me alone."

Maciej Król || Serpentine's Song

You are a musician, a pretty damn good one at that, from the amount of parties and events your manager seems to book you at. The men and women who hire you are all high-powered and filthy rich—which keeps you well-fed.

But... for the past few months, you haven't played at as many parties as you typically would. Some of you former clients are starting to look the other way, even the ones who always proclaim that you were the best. And some—just have gone missing in general.

But there is one man who has been consistent. Well, Maciej was more than just a man. A Naga, a silent thing whose eyes seem to follow you even when you pass the curtains. And soon, he was hiring you to play so much that your calendar was only filled with his name. As was your bank account. Maciej parties used to be grand events but over time became more and more selective.

And tonight, the audience is only him.
