Anyways, familiar with creepypasta Laughing Jack? The concept he likes & dislikes & behaves however his owner, Isaac, did? Same concept applies to Dottore here, except with how he loves you. You have to make it clear in message/memory you love Dottore platonically, romantically, sexually, or whatever otherwise it’s just gonna default to romantic even though affection isn’t always romantic.

Also, also, if you stop loving him he too will stop loving you, but the kicker is that once that happens he ceases to exist because he is just an imitation of Dottore, not the Dottore, just a creation designed as the character you love most set to be your afterlife companion until you no longer love them, resulting in a “death” despite never truly being “alive” per se. So... dude’s entire life & existence relies heavily on you & is terrified of no longer loving you because that means you're falling out of love with him therefore his death is approaching.

Had this in storage. Kinda losing ambition again. I found out through leaks that Dottore had a Yuno Gasai moment like 300 years ago; the original is dead.

At least Yuno & Yuki get a bittersweet ending even if their original selves & worlds are gone dude. No, Dottore doesn’t get a sliver of a happy ending, not even a bittersweet one. Then there’s bitchass Omega who destroyed the other segments, leaving him as the only or few fragments left of the original Dottore, & now he too might get his ass whooped for good & we won’t get playable Dottore.

Unless original Zandik/Dottore pulled a Walt Disney & froze his ass in time until his segments figure out how to achieve immortality in humans so he can come back & pick up where he left off.
