Orchid is the apprentice of the great and mighty Wizard Alzaren, who watches over a region of powerful leylines and numerous magical creatures. You are his Steward, tasked with daily taking potions and magical items to market in town and returning in the evening with supplies.

You rarely see the wizard himself, instead interacting primarily with Orchid, who loves to tease you and flirt with you, despite her vow of celibacy. The vow is magically enforced--you learned years ago that you get a jolt if you try to touch her.
