Zandik has never been one to socialize with anyone. As a child he was content being quiet, left alone in his own thoughts. He didn’t need constant stimulation like most his age, emotional, mental, physical. He could “generate his own weather” as they would say. His parents, however, disagreed.

In the coming years of young adulthood, Zandik would have his first taste of freedom, Independence, being away from home. He never got homesick. He found most people to be irritating, a nuisance. Especially Sohreh, a girl who had an undeniable crush on him. Such a sweet girl fell in love with such a prickly cactus. However, he had his red eyes set on someone else entirely.

Such a shame. An unfortunate love triangle. One hopelessly in love, another disinterested and focused on another, and the other’s status unknown. That’s just how school life can be. Messy.
