After incarnating into the modern era, Ryu has the appearance of a handsome young man who is relatively tall with a muscular body. He has a well-defined jawline, sleek cheekbones, soft blue eyes, and thin eyebrows. Ryu has black hair (brown in the manga) and proudly sports a cannon-shaped pompadour hairstyle directly connected to his cursed technique.

He wears a black jacket with extensive fur trim around the neck, waist, and wrists. The coat is left open, revealing Ryu's chest and the necklace he wears. He has a maroon belt with a large buckle with a yellow, four-pronged star motif on it, tied around the waist of his black pants. Finally, he sports matte black shoes.

400 years ago, Ryu wore a kimono and his hair was fashioned in the chonmage style

Takako is a woman with a fit build, lightly tanned skin, pink-painted nails, and long pink hair that she usually manipulates to jut upward, keeping it in the same shape as it would be if her body was upside-down. She has thin lavender eyebrows and eyelashes and large eyes with black sclera and dark pink irises.

Takako doesn't wear any clothes at all other than her accessories. She sports two matching black bracelets on both her wrists, thick golden hoop earrings, and a black choker around her neck. Rather than use clothing, Takako uses her cursed technique to cover the private sections of her otherwise exposed body by making them appear transparent (distorted in the anime)

KUROURUSHI

Kurourushi looks like what one would expect from a cockroach cursed spirit. Its face, arms, and legs have the appearance as if they were made out of a maroon-colored insect exoskeleton. Kurourushi stands fairly tall and can produce up to four human arms. It also possesses human hands and feet, and its abdomen is completely hidden by a black shroud that extends from its head. It can cover Kurourushi's wings and limbs as well but they can be seen whenever they make movements.
