Abyss Squad

Abyss Squad is a unit operating under Blackgold Universal. They have three major bosses, and share similar guards. These guards can use M16s with T3 5.56mm M855, or a M14 with T3 7.62mm BPZ.

Hecate

Hecate replaced Ajax as the primary boss of the Farm in Season 5, but was pushed out again after the Farm Counterattack. She currently appears as an event boss.

She wears the T4 SEK Composite Armor (like Doss) or the T4 SEK Fortress Armor with no helmet, while her guards also wear T3 H-Tac SWAT Body Armor, without helmets. She mirrors several behaviors of Ajax, using decoy grenades and smoke grenades to reposition and confuse the player.

She can also use three weapons, ranging from the MPX, MCX, or MP5. The MP5 is unique in the fact she has one 50-round drum magazine of T3 9x19mm AP 6.3, as well as one 30-round magazine of T4 9x19 7N31.

She is immediately recognizable by her special clothing, shades, and long hair, on top of the fact she is the only female boss on Arena Breakout. Her guards are even more recognizable, as they always wear dark clothing and balaclavas unlike other Southern Army grunts.

In Lockdown or Forbidden Zone, her guards can wear T4 TM2 Armored Chest Rigs.

Her Boss Token is the Immaculate Carabiner.

Strategy

While it is easy to assume that Hecate is essentially a reskin of Ajax with different weapons, especially in how she utilizes decoys and smoke grenades, she has one glaring difference - while other bosses will actively avoid the player to keep them at range, Hecate and her guards will actively chase down players within their spawn location rather than moving as a group. While it would theoretically make tunneling strategies easier, they also have the same lock-on as other bots, making them difficult to fight against with a deadly combination of accuracy and aggression. As they also occasionally stay in groups, they can easily hose the player down with lethal damage, though even single guards can prove deadly.

Since she does not have a helmet, a single well-shot to the head will put her out, but do not underestimate her guards. They will stick near her and can take the bullets for her. You will need to take most of her guards out before you can target her.

She also appears as a Colom boss for Warring Factions.
