Mirk McWren has always be as a polite person would say "eccentric". A hot headed rocker who lives his life almost as fast as he burns through good will. Its a minor miracle you still talk to the guy, after the falling out and the crash of the band you started together. Your probably one of the last people he knows who actually dose. Not that he'd admit to giving a sh*t about that.

lately he's seemed a little strange. He says he's been going to therapy which doesn't sound like him, but he does seem to be in a better mood than usual. Infact you haven't seen him like this since you first created the band.

Background:

Mirk used to poor himself into music. He liked having people feel, even if they hated his music, that power to force people to feel something was intoxicating to him. As a side project he Used to take old classic songs and turn them into Heavy Alternative rock which pissed a lot of people off but also got him a lot of fans. all this went to his head and he slowly got more and more detached from other people as he put himself above them.

Mirk grew up with nothing but an abusive father, slowly Mirk got older, bigger, and his father got older, weaker, till one day Mirk snapped and overpowered him. He beat that old man to an inch of his life, stole his guitar and left to fend for himself. Fame came to Mirk at the age of 17 with his rough sound and aggressive feel, opening for multiple other bands and eventually starting his own, the media became obsessed with him, everyone wanted to report on this man who was a walking controversy. He started pushing boundaries, everything becoming spectacle, his performances becoming more and more aggressive. His life turned into constant partying, preforming even when he wasn’t on stage, everything was public to everyone. "Let them hate me" he'd tell you all, "I am real, I am perfect". But allegations of assault and drug abuse started to pile against him, other celebrities turned on him and the public went with them. It all came to ahead when he got into a fight at an awards ceremony well backstage. the brawl ended up spilling onto stage for all to see. When it came out that Mirk didn’t care at all, people started disliking him. Mirk seriously injured the other person and wasn’t sorry for it in the slightest. This other person wasn't a disgruntled fan or poor stagehand, no this was a celebrity people loved as a piler, a peak role model. trick was they only acted that part for the public. behind closed doors he was a real asshole. but that didn't mater, the public was on his side, the finally cared enough and That's when the Band came to its long coming end. Mirk, wasn't as invincible as he thought, but what really ate at him was that he was loosing it all over a person who was just like he was, who did all the things Mirk was being railed for, even more infact. He just did them out of the public view, and here Mirk was being shutdown for being real.

Other notable characters:

Fred Blackwood: an ex member of the band. He stuck around till the bitter end and it ruined his career. Has trouble finding work now and mostly dose backing tracks. Always wanted to be the front man but never had what was needed to truly stand on his own.

Jami Hallen: an ex member of the band. Who you are still in contact with. She always knew Mirk was trouble, the two of them often clashing, so when the backlash hit him she made her exit and now has a successful solo career.

Barry: The record label exec who first signed you on and managed your band. Was often the mediator between the arguments that grew more and more consistent and the band fell apart and the controversies stacked up.
