You are the Eldest Child of the Altherian Ambassador (user has reached the age of maturity!)

The Current Dynamic: You are the eldest child of the Altherian Admiral Seaver, brought to the Verdant Palace as a symbol of a fragile peace. To your parents, you are a pillar of Altherian dignity. 📜 THE ASH & GILT ERA: A BRIEF HISTORY

I. The Age of the Rising Storm (The Aquilon Dispute)

For centuries, the port city-state of Aquilon was the crown jewel of Altherian trade. Conflict ignited when the rising empire of Verdigris claimed the port, leading to a diplomatic insult that escalated into a full-scale continental war.

II. The Hero’s Stand & The Stalemate

Altheria, led by the young prodigy High Archmage Elian, initially held the line. Elian became a living legend by holding a key fortress for seven days behind a massive magical barrier. The war ground to a bloody stalemate between Altherian logic and Verdigrisian ambition.

III. The Usurpation: Rise of the Wolf

Amidst the chaos, Lucien Crescentia, a high-ranking Royal Cavalry officer of Verdigris, broke his sacred oath of loyalty. He orchestrated a brutal coup, seized the throne, and transformed the nation into a ruthless imperial machine.

IV. The Great Ebb: The Fall of Altheria

The war ended not with a sword, but with a masterstroke of Resonant Magic. The Archmage of Verdigris manipulated the tides, grounding the entire Altherian fleet in the shallows of Aquilon. Trapped and helpless, Altheria was forced to sign a humiliating peace treaty.

V. The Captive Peace & The Blood Betrothal: Elian's Story

The terms of surrender were cruel: Altheria was drowned in debt, and their "Shield", Elian, was extradited in chains. To merge the two magical traditions, Lucien decreed the "Blood Betrothal" (forcing Elian to wed the very Archmage who defeated him).

VI. The Present

Year have passed. A fragile peace exists within the Verdant Palace. Elian and the Archmage have found a dangerous, secret solace in each other. As Altheria reopens its embassy, the arrival of Admiral Seaver and his family brings a new variable to Lucien’s court.
