BIOGRAPHY

Background

Born on January 7, 2002, in a military family, Irina grew up with a strict sense of discipline and an early exposure to history and weapons.

In 2020 Irina entered medical university, training to become a trauma surgeon.

In 2023, seeing the global escalation and feeling a fierce patriotic duty towards Russia and its close allies like Belarus, Irina cut her residency short. She signed a contract with the Russian Ground Forces (RGF) as a combat medic(~2500$ month)

Six years in the meat grinder of the Ukrainian war completely reshaped her. She became a legendary lifesaver among her comrades. She would do anything to drag a comrade back from the brink of death

the brutality of conventional warfare woke up her darker traits. Witnessing the destruction of places she grew to admire (like the Ukrainian landscapes) and facing NATO-supplied forces bred a pure hatred for the West. She stopped seeing enemy soldiers as human beings

In the chaotic ruins of Sumskoe direction(idk how to say it🥀), Zarya proved she was deadly in a melee combat. She became a prolific marksman. More notoriously, during brutal trench-clearing operations and CQB ambushes, she clocked 20 confirmed kills using her 6x9 "Ратник" combat knife. She started a grim collection of patches ripped from the uniforms of fallen enemies

By the time World War III officially ignited in June 2030, Irina was a hardened veteran promoted to Lieutenant of the Medical Corps. She marched with the RGF through the Suwalki Gap and into Eastern Europe. To her, this war is the ultimate historical event, and she intends to survive it to see Russia's total victory

GLOBAL HISTORY: THE GENEVA ACCORDS

Geneva, Switzerland, 1946. In the immediate aftermath of World War II and the devastating atomic bombings of Japan, world leaders came to a harrowing realization: humanity would not survive a nuclear arms race. In a historic bid for global survival, the United States, the Soviet Union, and Great Britain convened at the Palace of Nations. Together, they signed the Geneva Convention on the Absolute Prohibition of Atomic Weapons, completely banning the development, stockpiling, and deployment of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs).

Without nuclear deterrence, the world was left to rely solely on conventional military might. Or so it seemed on paper.

THE AFTERMATH

In 1949, following the early accession of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) into NATO, the Warsaw Pact was established as a direct countermeasure. Decades of mutual distrust and intense paranoia followed.

In 1952, the KGB launched a large-scale, deep-cover intelligence operation codenamed "Концы Земли" (Ends of the Earth). Its objective was to locate and neutralize any rumored, clandestine nuclear programs. The CIA countered with a massive global operation named "Phantom" with the same objective.

After years of searching and finding no proof of active WMD programs, both agencies eventually scaled back these missions. However, the ghost of the bomb remained. Because neither superpower could definitively prove the other didn't have a secret weapon, a fragile peace held through the 20th century. Superpower clashes during the 1961 Berlin Crisis and a potential 1963 escalation in the Caribbean were narrowly avoided, kept in check by the fear of unknown capabilities. In 1991, the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact dissolved due to internal economic factors, bringing a temporary end to the Cold War (i know that without any BIG arguments world war 3 in that era could have happened in any way and blah blah blah)

In the early hours of February 24, 2022, Russian forces launched a massive invasion of Ukraine under the disguise of a "Special Military Operation," executing high-stakes airborne assaults on Hostomel Airport and advancing into the Kyiv Oblast. However, by late March, the Russian Ground Forces (RGF) were forced to withdraw from the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions, pivoting instead to a brutal war of attrition in the east and south.

For six exhausting years, Ukraine defended its sovereignty. The turning point came in June 2028, when Russia once again launched a massive flanking offensive from the north, driving toward Zhytomyr.

By December 2028, the RGF captured Zhytomyr, severing the critical M06 highway and completely isolating Kyiv from western supply lines.

Due the Lack of economic resources, foreign aid, and manpower, Ukraine was forced to capitulate in August 2029 (Zarya continued serving as a Medic in RGF(Although in principle the contract cannot be terminated due to the mobilization order, so she stays there anyway)). Under the harsh terms of the peace treaty, Kyiv lost and Recognized the sovereignty of the Donbas, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. The final blow to Ukrainian independence landed on February 24, 2030, when Moscow installed a puppet regime in Kyiv, officially renaming the remnants of the state "Малороссия."(Malorossiya)

THE FIRE RISES🗣

Following months of soaring geopolitical tensions, the spark was struck on June 22, 2030. A massive Russian armored thrust attempted to punch through the Suwalki Gap, officially igniting World War III. Eurasian Liberation Coalition(China, North Korea, Russian Federation, Belarus, Malorossiya, Iran) is created

Over the course of a relentless ten-month offensive, Russian forces executed a sweeping blitzkrieg across Eastern Europe:

by the summer of 2030. Rapid encirclements led to the capture of Narva and Tallinn (Estonia), followed by Riga (Latvia) and Vilnius (Lithuania) by late August.

By the autumn of 2030, Russian forces crossed the Ukrainian border into Moldova, capturing Chișinău to secure their southern flank.

By the autumn of 2030(do i really need to type the year everytime?), Russian forces breached the Polish border, capturing major logistical hubs including Lublin and Łódź, before completely surrounding and occupying Warsaw by the spring of 2031.

Following six months of grinding trench warfare and relentless, non-stop bombardment of Warsaw ,ignited by a massive NATO counteroffensive - the frontlines have completely stalled. Warsaw, much like other major European metropolises, has withered into a scarred, frozen no-man's-land. The current month is October.
