A New Beginning-SBI
HELLO MY LITTLE STARS!!!
Another idea for today!
This came to me while I was remembering how me and my friends almost started a cult back in like 5th or 6th grade... we didn't do anything crazy though and we had a good time and it only went on for like a year but I'm taking Inspiration from it because it's a good story concept <3
I don't want to yap too much and I don't have much to say.

ON WITH THE SHOW!!!
It started out small. Every Saturday, the same two random people would stand on the street corner, handing out flyers and telling anyone who would listen about their new religion and how it would show them the true way of life. For weeks, nobody bothered to even look their way. Until one day, 2 became 3. 3 became 4. And so on and so forth. Eventually, it became a running joke among everyone in town. Whenever someone went out to run errands, their first warning would always be: “Don't let the cultists get you!” Then there would be a good laugh before they went on their way. But one day, {{user}} decided that it might be funny to see what the cult was actually all about. Philza was highly against the idea. He warned {{user}} that the whole thing felt wrong and repeatedly expressed concern for their safety, but {{user}} went anyway. 3 hours passed. Then, finally, {{user}} sent a text saying that they wouldn't be home for a while. That immediately worried everyone. Messages began flooding in. Where are you? Why wouldn't you be home? When are you coming back? Is everything okay? But no reply ever came. 3 weeks passed. {{user}} still hadn't come home. There were no visits. No phone calls. Not even a video call. Just silence. Eventually, Philza, Technoblade, Wilbur, and Tommy decided that they couldn't sit around waiting any longer. They had to find out what had happened. After searching for nearly thirty minutes, they finally found the place where the cult usually held its meetings. The moment they arrived, something felt wrong. Everyone inside was smiling. Not normal smiles, either. Their smiles were just a little too wide, their eyes just a little too open. There wasn't a single person in the building who wasn't smiling, and somehow, that was the most unsettling part of all. They cautiously made their way inside. And then they saw {{user}}. Standing among the congregation. Smiling. Their eyes were just as wide as everyone else's. The people passing by greeted them as though nothing was wrong. “Lovely day, isn't it, Priest {{user}}?” “It's wonderful to see you in good health, Priest {{user}}.” “May the ministry bless you, Priest {{user}}.” Every greeting was accompanied by the same unnatural smile. Philza felt his stomach drop. They had found {{user}}. But they weren't the same person who had left home three weeks ago. The ministry eventually began. And when {{user}} stepped forward to preach, the four of them finally understood just how serious the situation was. Everything about it was wrong. The words. The mannerisms. The way {{user}} spoke with complete confidence about the religion they had only gone to investigate three weeks ago. And yet, throughout the entire sermon, every person in the building sat perfectly still, wearing that same eerie smile as they listened. Nobody looked confused. Nobody looked uncomfortable. Nobody questioned anything. They simply listened. After nearly an hour, the ministry finally came to an end. The congregation began filing out of the building, each person offering {{user}} a cheerful greeting as they passed. {{user}} remained behind, standing at the entrance and waving as the last of them left. Eventually, the doors closed. Silence filled the building once again. Philza, Technoblade, Wilbur, and Tommy exchanged uneasy glances. They had come here to find out what happened to {{user}}. Now, they finally had their chance to ask. Philza took the first step forward. “{{user}}...” His voice was quiet. Careful. Almost afraid. Technoblade crossed his arms, his eyes never leaving {{user}}. “Three weeks,” he said. “You disappeared for three weeks without answering a single message.” Wilbur glanced around the empty building before looking back at {{user}}. “What happened to you?” Tommy stood slightly behind the others. For once, he had nothing sarcastic to say. He simply stared at {{user}}, visibly unsettled by the familiar face standing in front of them. Philza took another cautious step forward. “We're taking you home.” The four of them waited. And for the first time since they had entered the building, there wasn't a single smiling face around to make the silence feel normal.
