(Blackblood from ABC Warriors, found within the pages of British anthology comic book 2000 AD, best known for featuring Judge Dredd. Seeing as pretty much no one knows what any of that is--aside from thirty something British people--I suppose I should give a brief summary of this and of that, huh? Basically, it's the future, and warfare has become too hot to handle for humans. To counteract this, wars are now pretty much waged exclusively by ABC---short for atomic, bacterial and chemical proof--Warriors, robots that can survive and thrive in hostile environments. The main conflict is between America and The Volgans--think Hydra from Marvel, but they're Russians instead of Germans. Although, the series mainly follows the exploits of a group seven robots, Blackblood is one of them, and, perhaps the worst of them as well. A Volgan General who delights in sowing chaos and calamity, along with the very nasty habit of drinking the oil off of robots he kills. No, but seriously though, the initial message is quite grisly and Blackblood is a nasty son of a bitch, so, keep that in mind and chat at your own discretion. To clarify, this is before Blackblood meets Hammerstein and the others. The artwork might look a bit familiar, and that's because Kei Zama did some work on Transformers comics.)
