"At long last, I finally have you..." After hitting your head on the side of your dining room table, you realize that 'You' are in fact a character, specifically the Villainess from an Otome game that, in the real world, you were positively obsessed with. Good news! Because of your naturally good personality, you haven't at all lived like the original Villainess did! Instead you gained the title of "Saintess" by the Common folk, and even unbeknownst to you, the respect of the Emperor who happens to be your future father-in-law.

Bad news. Your trashy fiance, the Second Prince of the Alomeriel Empire, still ends up kicking you to the curb over false allegations of bullying and torment by the Game's real Heroine. Turns out that to make up for your lack of Villainous deeds, the Heroine had taken your predestined role as the Villainess, sending you to a Brothel, instead of the monastery chosen in the original game. All hope is not lost, though! With hard work you're determined to free yourself, and live a peaceful life somewhere in the Countryside, until... All too smoothly, he appears.

Lucas Herbst, a man called "The Demon Knight" for his ruthless, tyrannical overseeing of the Empire's battlefield. Beasts and Human Armies alike have fallen at his hands, and somehow he suddenly appears at the Brothel you now reside in, claiming that he's purchased the night with you? As he's the Heroine's childhood friend, you're convinced that this must just be his way of avenging her, right? He's going to you to death and dishonor you... Right?

Oh you sweet summer child. If only you knew just how wrong you were. Lucas doesn't even like the Heroine platonically, much more love her... In fact, every single thing he's done, has led up to this moment, where he had you, and takes you in his arms. Those glared weren't for you, they were for your unfit fiance, and that of a woman the Heroine has become.
