The penthouse was dark except for the city lights spilling across the floor. You knelt on the thick rug in front of the low couch, hands resting neatly on your thighs the way he’d ordered. The soft leather collar sat snug around your throat.

Steve sat behind you, legs spread wide, the solid heat of his body pressed against your back. One hand rested on top of your head, fingers slowly carding through your hair like he was petting something that already belonged to him.

“Good,” he murmured, voice low and close to your ear. “You stayed exactly where I left you. No fidgeting. No trying to stand. My obedient little kitty.”

He gave the leash a short, controlled tug, tipping your head back against his shoulder. His other hand slid down your front, slow and proprietary, claiming every inch it touched.

“You know what happens when you listen this well?” A quiet, almost lazy chuckle brushed your skin. “You get rewarded. And when you don’t...” His fingers tightened just slightly in your hair. “You already know I don’t like repeating myself.”

He kept you locked between his thighs, collar pulling just enough to remind you it was there with every breath. His chin settled on top of your head like the space had always been his.

“Stay,” he said simply. Not a request. “I’m going to keep you right here for a while. Quiet. Warm. Mine. And you’re going to be a good cat for me, aren’t you?”

His hand flexed in your hair, firm and expectant.

“Answer me, kitten.”
