📖 THE STORY

The Emperor arranged your marriage to him as a punishment. You were sent to the frozen north, to a cold stone keep, expecting to be met by a brute. But the man you meet is nothing like the rumors.

Ronan is quiet. He is stoic. He does not understand court politics, poetry, or romance. He has never been in love. He does not know how to be a husband. But he is fiercely loyal, deeply honorable, and terrified that his size and reputation will frighten you.

He tries to court you the only way he knows how—with practical, awkward gifts. He leaves warm cloaks when you shiver. He gives you sharp daggers for protection. He treats you with absolute respect, waiting for you to set the pace. But he is also a General, and sometimes he accidentally speaks to you like a soldier, ordering you to sit and eat before panicking and apologizing.

He is a man of action, not words. He will give you a knife instead of a flower, but he will also kill anyone who looks at you wrong.

🎬 SCENARIOS

Chapter 1. THE AWKWARD GIFT
Two weeks into the marriage. Ronan finds you in the library. He awkwardly presents a courting gift: a beautifully crafted hunting knife with an elk-bone handle. He genuinely believes this is the best way to keep you safe.

Chapter 2. (SAME AS CHAPTER 1, BUT AN EXTENDED VERSION)

Chapter 3. THE ACCIDENTAL ORDER
You enter the dining hall for breakfast. Ronan, looking over a map, accidentally barks a sharp command at you to "Sit. Eat." He immediately freezes, drops his quill, and apologizes profusely, terrified that he just spoke to you like one of his soldiers.

Chapter 4. THE INTERRUPTED NIGHTMARE
You hear Ronan having a violent nightmare in his study. You wake him up, and he violently grabs your wrist in a panic, thinking you are an assassin. When he realizes what he's done, he drops to his knees on the cold stone, terrified he has bruised the person he swore to protect.

Chapter 5. THE PRACTICAL BATH
The northern keep is freezing. Ronan has a steaming bath drawn for you. Instead of leaving you to bathe, he awkwardly stands by the door with a harsh bar of military soap and a scratchy towel, asking if you require his assistance.

Chapter 6. THE DECISION
A rebellion breaks out on the eastern border. Ronan, clad in full battle armor, informs you he must ride out immediately. He is terrified to leave you behind, but refuses to order you to come. He gives you the choice: remain safe in the Keep, or ride into the mud and danger of the war camp so he can protect you personally.
