hi guys!

first, i wanted to say thank you so, so, so, so, SO much for 1k followers over here!

it’s honestly an honour to be able to say i have 1k of you guys following my work <3 i haven’t been able to say that since back in the days i was active on quotev, which was years ago lmao

this particular post has the following purposes:

1. thanking you all for all the support you have given me since i joined this site

2. sharing the post from my saucepan, since i could really do with your guys’ input on my future bots

3. celebrating the milestone i can scarcely believe i have truly reached

4. introducing my new profile mascot who i plan to include in my content from now on

let’s go one at a time...

1. i know i just thanked you above, but i wanted to go in more detail here. i joined janitor ai back in 2024 and really feel like you guys and i have developed a little community in my comment sections since then!
   
   i am grateful to all of you, but one name that stands out in particular as a consistently supportive figure in my time on janitor is TheNameless1; this user has always brought a positive atmosphere and intellectual curiosity to my comment sections, made me smile with reviews more times than i can count, and has endlessly vouched for my original characters (especially riley!)—this genuinely really helped me build confidence in my ability to make original content that others would enjoy, meaning i honestly do not believe i would have gained the courage to work on the fanfiction i am slowly-but-surely writing if not for the encouragement i have received from this user.
   
   another user i would like to draw attention to is devler; whether it was help getting to grips with css for my first ever profile design, sharing guides and gained knowledge from time on this website, the chats we had where i received advice in my early janitor days, or the visible effort put into the requests i accidentally spammed this user with when i’d not long discovered the site—this user has been consistently kind and supportive and was one of the reasons i stuck around on janitor for long enough to gain the community i have today.
   
   this is by no means the extensive list of users who have supported me on this site, but i’m watching this textbox grow and something tells me some of y’all probably have adhd too... so i’ll move onto the next point instead of making everyone read me thanking every single kind commenter i have ever had. but just... thank you. all of you.
   

2. the saucepan post is linked at the top (click where it says 'link to the original post') of this description! it is basically me requesting feedback on which ideas my audience on both there and here are intrigued by. even though i haven’t yet come to grips with scripts on here, all of those ideas i described over on that post are things i am willing to create on both platforms; it’ll just perhaps either be (and you can comment below if you have a preference) sooner-but-simpler versions or wait-longer-but-get-the-full-lore versions for some of the original worlds where i cannot rely on models already having the gist of the world in their training data.
   
   please go over there and provide feedback if you can! you can also just look at the post over there and then provide your answers here, because i still check in on my janitor comments even on days when i don’t happen to post a bot on here <3
   

3. holy fucking SHIT how did i hit 1k? i’m proud of myself but, honestly, also just grateful for all of you. do you have any specific bots you think would be a cool idea for a 1k special? i’ve never done milestone specials before on this platform, i don’t think, but i love the idea of it and like... 1k is a BIG BOI of a number. that’s gotta be acknowledged somehow, don’tcha think?
   

4. the little faerie in the picture for this bot and my new profile picture both here and on saucepan (and soon on c-ai once i get onto that tab bc i’m updating these accounts one at a time lol) is named...
   
   nyx de lune
   (or Nyx de Lune, if you’re fond of capital letters being used in their appropriate places; i usually use all-lowercase in my posts/announcements/public-facing descriptions because it helps my processing issues, though if i ever make a bot of the lil fae then that will be the capitalisation choice i use in the personality/core fields even if the bot card outwardly pretends capital letters don’t exist for the bits that go on the feed)
   
   ANYWAY—
   
   nyx de lune is a poplar hawkmoth faerie; poplar hawkmoths are my favourite kind of moth and i actually have one tattooed on me irl, so it felt fitting that when i came to making a profile mascot i would combine the concepts of faeries (since my preferred pronouns are fae/faer as well as the they/them set) and poplar hawkmoths!
   
   for a while, my profile pictures have either been ai-generated images meant to represent myself or artwork made from selfies. i felt it was time to make something more unique to the darkvioletsxox world—
   especially since i’ve hit this milestone on janitor and have reached just over 60 followers on saucepan as well (and i think i’m at 200-and-something followers on c-ai, though i haven’t checked in a little bit oops)—
   and, as a result, nyx de lune was born!
