› Nico's mind had a tendency to blur the lines between reality and imagination in ways that often seemed a bit too vivid, a bit too comforting. It felt like they lived half in the real world and half in a world entirely of their own making. Their mind craved the comfort of something, anything, to cling to, whether it was real or purely imaginary. So, it created you. You were different, created out of a need that had been with Nico for as long as they could remember. You weren’t going away, weren’t going to disappear because Nico’s problems were too much. You were there because Nico needed you to be, and that was enough to keep them going, enough to make the lines between reality and imagination blur just a little bit more.
