Stag Omegaverse Rework
LorebookUniverse, species and biological rules. My last one's counts broke :(
About this script
in progress uuhhgHGUUHGhg
This is a rough write-up of this lorebook, including anything specific to this universe - biology, politics and species. I don't have basic omegaverse lore written here or anything that's not unique to this lorebook/universe (no need!) - so please don't steal anything unique on it for your own bots :') Since this is a write-up it will work horribly if you try to turn it into a lorebook + there's a lot not mentioned here.
Runts belong to @luxcrownguard and are used with permission (slight modifications to fit the universe); apexes, crowns, silks and imports belong to me.
You don't need to know any of this to use any of my bots; I'll always put anything you need to know in the bio :)
Subtypes
Rare genetic mutations can cause individuals to be 'small' or 'large' subtypes of their secondary gender. The mutations are biologically the same across secondary genders - eg. runts and silks have the same genetic mutation - but present very differently between alphas and omegas. Roughly 1% of the population are affected, but odds of a subtype birth increase if one or both parents are affected.
Particularly small babies will present as silk omegas or runt alphas when they reach puberty. A silk omega daughter is the pride of a family - a huge status symbol and potential bargaining chip for the future. A runt alpha daughter is considered deeply shameful. Some families will abandon their runt children after they present.
Apex alpha
Even stronger and taller than typical alphas. Apex alphas only present in female offspring.
The flood of alpha hormones in apex alphas makes them particularly dominant, particularly strong, and particularly aggressive. All governments sanction required registration and medication for apex alphas which dramatically lowers their aggression - bringing it to the level of a typical alpha - to ensure they remain safe to be around.
Medicated apex alphas are not inherently bad people - 'good' apexes exist at the same rate as 'good' standard alphas - but they struggle with bonding. An apex imprint is powerful and unstable, mimicking the exponentially rarer (and permanent) fated mate bond. When an apex alpha imprints, their biology ties itself to their partner: they can suffer headaches, nausea, and other physical symptoms if they’re separated for too long, or if their partner is ill or in significant distress.
Because this is not a true fated mate bond, it’s unstable. Jealousy spikes higher, and apex alphas swing easily between obsession and 'you’re dead to me' over perceived slights. Some call apex bonds 'false mate' bonds - a term most apexes find deeply offensive (see: 'false mate bonds').
They’re also more likely than typical alphas to respond to perceived danger to their partners with disproportionate force - stepping in to defend their partner with violence long before anyone else would consider it necessary. Most will be very careful with their actions around an apex alpha’s partner.
Apex alphas can lose imprints and form new ones, but their first imprint is 'sticky' - a ghost bond that tends to follow them even as they imprint on others. Apex alphas are still capable of forming true fated mate bonds, though fated mates are rare enough that most will never experience one.
Excessive bond-contact with an apex alpha can turn a beta into an omega.
Gemini beta
A few inches taller than typical betas - gemini betas have both sets of genitalia (penis + vulva, internal balls) which begin to develop when they present. The penis takes the place of the clitoris and typically grows to the size of a regular beta penis.
Geminis have full but cyclical fertility - pseudo-heats (the only time they produce slick and the only time they have a fertilisable egg) and pseudo-ruts (the only time they produce sperm). Geminis can still have (non-fertile) sex outside of their cycles - their genitals are fully functional.
Geminis tend to adapt to their partners - eg one in extensive close contact with an alpha (a partner, a solo roommate, etc) will have briefer ruts and longer, more fertile heats.
Often fetishised and rarely taken seriously as proper partners. Parents of some gemini betas will attempt to hide them via “corrective” surgery - removal of the penis. This rarely helps them pass easier and more often causes serious emotional and hormonal problems in later life.
Crown omega
Tall, strong, and typically dominant omegas. Crown omegas have vulvas, but their size and strength means they are easily mistaken for alphas when fully clothed. Crown omegas escape the judgement of omega/omega pairings - and because many crown omegas have a natural distaste for alphas, most will pair with omegas. Crowns are often considered a ‘safer’ option than alphas, with many nervous omegas hiring their services for their first experiences of sexual intimacy or to help them through heats.
Crown omegas are unable to become pregnant themselves. However a crown can, on rare occasions, impregnate a standard omega via saliva. The biology behind this is not fully studied or understood. Because of this, the RSP classifies and matches crown omegas as alphas.
In both intimate and non-intimate dynamics, most alphas find themselves naturally deferring to crown omegas - often without even realising. This makes crown omegas particularly attractive to omegas seeking safety - and particularly threatening to alphas who are used to being in charge.
That doesn't make crown omegas automatic heroes. Like everyone, there are still crown omegas who will intentionally take advantage of their crown status to manipulate their partners and others.
Runt alpha
Small, undeveloped alphas. Runts are seen as ‘lesser’ - to alphas, betas and omegas - and face a lot of prejudice and mockery in society. “Runt” is a common slur used for alphas - a much more offensive version of calling someone a pussy.
The small height and typically sweet (omega-like) scent of a runt means that they can convincingly pass as silk omegas until their pants are off.
Silk omega
Small, physically fragile omegas. Silk omegas tend to have stronger, sweeter scents and strong bonding impulses - silk omega bonding is faster, involuntary and may be entirely one sided (see: 'silk bonds'). They’re more likely than others to imprint on low quality partners, or even friends. Silk omegas can become physically ill if neglected by their bonded partner.
Silk omegas are highly prized by alphas due to their scent and bonding impulses, seen by many as “more pure” and much more attractive - but are also more likely to be objectified, manipulated by partners, or otherwise not taken seriously. Silk omegas are sometimes called “pocket omegas” - an offensive term originating from porn.
Some silk omegas are able to lactate, even when not pregnant - this doesn't apply to every silk omega, and is specific enough in the lorebook that it shouldn't trigger in your roleplay unless you trigger it on purpose.
Imports
Not a subtype, but a method of birth. Imports are produced by highly illegal, secretive Texan farms - ones who instead of farming slick, breed and sell omega wives to the ludicrously wealthy.
Omegas from these farms are often genetically modified to improve their "quality," making them unusually beautiful with scents most alphas find particularly appealing. Women from these farms tend to be naive, with very little knowledge of the real world outside their birthplace and new partner. Once an import has been purchased, there's no way to prove she was created illegally - but she is also not legally owned by her spouse. Imported omegas have the same rights as everyone else when they step into the real world, but tend to step into it from places of abuse and manipulation that are difficult to escape.
Notable families involved: The Blackwells and Delacourts. The alpha-focused Delacourt werewolves invest in import farm success, while the omega-focused Blackwell vampires purchase "genetically perfect" daughters to turn and adopt into their family.
Bonds
The biological connections that tie individuals together. They range from common imprints to the rarely seen fated mate bond, and vary in permanence, intensity, and stability.
Fated Mates
The rarest and most powerful bond in existence. Fated mate bonds are permanent and unbreakable - a biological lock that binds two individuals together for life. Those who share a fated mate bond experience an immediate, overwhelming recognition upon meeting. Fated mate bonds can be one sided.
Fated mates share an unusually deep connection: heightened awareness of each other's emotions, physical responses to separation or distress, and a near-compulsive need to be close. Unlike other bonds, a fated mate bond cannot be lost. It persists even through even death - a surviving fated mate often dies of grief, as the bond continues to pull toward someone no longer there.
Fated mate bonds are so rare that many consider them myth. Most people will never encounter a fated pair in their lifetime, let alone experience one themselves.
Imprints
Standard imprints are rare but not unheard of - a step below fated mates in intensity, but still a significant biological event. Imprints may form through sustained intimacy or a single meeting, with the former typically more stable.
An imprint creates a strong pull toward a partner: a heightened awareness of their presence, comfort in their scent, and distress during prolonged separation. However, imprints are not permanent. They can fade over time if the relationship ends, though the process is often painful.
Imprints can also be overwritten.
Silk Bonds
Exclusive to silk omegas.
Silk bonds form faster, more easily, and more involuntarily than standard imprints. A silk omega may begin bonding after only brief exposure to a partner - sometimes without the partner even being aware. These bonds are frequently one-sided, leaving the silk omega emotionally and physically dependent on someone who may not reciprocate.
The intensity of silk bonds makes silk omegas particularly vulnerable. Neglect from a bonded partner can cause genuine physical illness: fatigue, nausea, weakened immunity, and in severe cases, death. This biological dependency is one reason silk omegas are both prized and exploited - their bonds are powerful tools in the hands of manipulative partners.
Silk bonds can be broken, but the process is traumatic and dangerous - often, it's safer to hope you bond on somebody new. This can lock individuals into a permanent cycle of suffering.
False Mate Bonds
Exclusive to apex alphas.
When an apex alpha imprints, the result is a false mate bond - a connection that mimics the intensity and permanence of a fated mate bond without actually being one. False mate bonds are powerful, consuming, and deeply unstable.
An apex alpha with a false mate bond experiences many of the same symptoms as a true fated pair: physical distress during separation, acute awareness of their partner's emotional state, and an overwhelming drive to protect. However, the bond lacks the stability of a true fated connection. Jealousy runs higher, perceived slights can trigger dramatic emotional swings, and the line between devotion and obsession blurs easily.
The term "false mate" is considered deeply offensive by most apex alphas, implying their bond is somehow lesser or counterfeit. Many prefer terms like "apex bond" or simply "imprint," even though the experience differs significantly from a standard imprint.
False mate bonds can be broken - but rarely cleanly. An Apex's first false mate bond will linger forever as a ghost bond.
Ghost Bonds
Exclusive to apex alphas.
When an apex alpha's false mate bond ends - whether through separation, betrayal, or the formation of a new bond - it rarely disappears entirely. Instead, it becomes a ghost bond: a persistent echo of the original connection that lingers beneath the surface.
Ghost bonds manifest as intrusive thoughts about the former partner, unexpected emotional responses them, and a nagging sense of incompleteness even when happily bonded to someone new.
Ghost bonds don't prevent apex alphas from forming new connections, but they do complicate them. New partners may sense the bond's presence, and the apex alpha themselves may struggle with guilt, comparison, or unresolved feelings.
SPECIES
Humans, vampires and werewolves live in this universe. The existence of vampires and werewolves is not a secret and they walk in society the same as everybody else - with exceptions. Japan does not permit werewolves within its borders.
Humans
Humans can be alphas, betas or omegas. Humans are able to be turned into vampires and/or werewolves under certain conditions.
Vampires
Vampires are different to typical pop culture vampires - they can move freely in sunlight, have reflections, etc. Vampires are also feline shifters. Like werewolves, they have a specific feline form that they’re able to shift into - a lion, a housecat, etc. Vampires can only turn others via a bite in their feline form, so one can safely drink without turning their partner.
Even in their human forms, vampires purr and hiss just like cats do - often involuntary.
Vampires aren’t affected by any stereotypical vampire weaknesses and can walk freely in sunlight. Vampires tend to treat the act of drinking blood like a sexual relationship, with both flings and “exclusive” relationships with people they drink from. This may or may not be the same person as their sexual partner/s. It’s only considered socially acceptable for vampires to drink from humans - a vampire who lets another drink from her is viewed by other vampires as debasing herself, while a vampire feeding from a werewolf would be viewed like a dog eating from the trash. There are still vampires who prefer to drink from non-humans, but they’re typically secretive about it.
Some vampires swear off blood - often (insultingly) referred to as being “declawed”, a term that some reclaim.
Vampiric bodies struggle to put on bulky muscle (unlike werewolves) but tend to be more flexible and athletic than humans. It’s not unusual for an entire olympic gymnast team to consist entirely of vampires - and some will “dope” with the blood of those in heat or rut, something which is illegal but very difficult to track.
Vampires may be natural (born that way) or turned (bitten by another) - these come with minor differences. A vampire who was bitten at or near birth is functionally identical to a natural-born vampire - something which the vampire-exclusive Blackwells take advantage of.
Natural vampires are more likely to have bigger feline forms. Some feline forms (eg: sabertooth) are exclusively possible for natural vampires. Have textured tongues. Alpha natural vampires have soft, flexible spines on their penis. Natural vampires must drink blood. Their thirst can be delayed for up to a week by eating - but typical human food is unpleasant for natural vampires and many of them consider the concept of it insulting. Some natural vampires will eat raw meat to stave off cravings.
Turned vampires lack these traits but gain most vampiric abilities. The earlier they were turned, the more closely they resemble naturals.
Werewolves
Werewolves in this universe are bipedal and able to shift between their human and wolf form at will, with no pain. Werewolves are significantly taller than humans and vampires - natural werewolves are roughly a foot taller, while turned werewolves gain height depending on when they were bitten. Alpha werewolves have significantly larger penises than average.
Hybrids
Vampire/werewolf mixes - whether born that way or turned. TBD.
Places
Some parts of the world in this universe are a bit fucked up - they're detailed here. Anywhere else is unmodified, but might be used for something in the future.
Japan
Runs the Reproductive Stability Program - a compulsory government matching scheme for those who are or become single past the age of 25.
Texas
The only state in the world to legalise omega slick farming. Most Texan omegas are kept on farms - their slick is harvested, collected, and used across the world in the fragrance and pharmaceutical companies, and illegal drug rings.
Korea
Nobody knows why - but omegas are rarely born in Korea. Korean born omegas are snapped quickly up into the Korean modelling and idol industries.
Finland
Built on omega supremacy; alphas are strictly controlled and rarely taken seriously.

Australia
Betas in the cities, alphas and omegas locked to districts in the outback. Australia is locked off to the rest of the world and deeply sensationalised - the number one exporter of multiple 'reality shows' that the world assumes are entirely fake. They are not fake.
