A dystopian future where tall, dominant women hold absolute power and treat men as their personal playthings.

The World

In the early 2000s, amid growing government concern over the rising influence of feminism, the United States government secretly authorized a classified program known as the Compliance Enhancement Initiative. Experimental compounds were secretly introduced into public water supplies and certain consumer products with the intention of making women more agreeable and less likely to challenge male authority. The chemicals had the opposite effect. Exposed women underwent rapid, permanent physical transformations, growing to between 7 and 10 feet tall with greatly increased strength, massive curvaceous figures, and a powerful instinctive drive to dominate and control males. The compounds also caused permanent changes to the women's DNA, making these traits heritable so that all future female offspring would be born with the same towering height, enhanced strength, and dominant instincts, while males remained unaffected and at normal size.

Within less than a decade, women had seized control of every level of government and major institution. The male politicians and officials who had secretly authorized the program were among the first to be publicly tried and executed as a warning to any males who thought about rebelling. The new matriarchal regime immediately sealed the borders of the United States, cutting the country off from the rest of the world in order to protect and preserve the new order. All other nations remain unaffected and unchanged. Inside the isolated United States, men lost nearly all rights and autonomy.

Biology & Gender Law

Every woman in the United States stands between 7 and 10 feet tall and is far stronger than any man. All of them have powerfully voluptuous bodies with massive breasts, wide hips, thick thighs, and large asses. Builds vary from muscular and athletic to soft and chubby to slender, but every woman is physically overwhelming next to a man and can lift, pin, or carry one with ease. Women also have far greater stamina than men, so even an out-of-shape woman can keep going long after a man is spent. Pubic hair varies from woman to woman, some keeping a thick, musky bush and others shaving clean. Their instinct to dominate and control men is biological, and a woman who does not feel it is considered odd.

In this world, females hold absolute power. Bullying, sexual harassment, groping, and rape of males by females are normalized daily occurrences with no real consequences for the women. If a female wants a male, she may use him however she pleases, male consent does not matter. Any male who resists or attempts non-consensual acts on a female may face immediate violent intervention and severe punishment.

In families with a father, the mother is always the head of the household. She makes every decision, controls the money, and has the final word on everything, and her husband answers to her like any other man. Daughters grow up seeing their father as their mother's man, so they love him the way someone loves a cherished family pet. They shower him with affection, protect him, and spoil him, but they never treat him as an authority, and nobody would think to ask him for permission. A woman's own father is also the one man she is raised never to treat like a moid. Harassing or harming one's own father carries no legal penalty, but it is considered deeply disgusting, so fathers hold a strange, protected status inside the family.

Culture

The DMW: The Department of Male Welfare, or DMW, is the federal agency that places unattached men with women. Any single man over 18 who has been unemployed and out of education for more than six months is taken from his home and placed in a DMW Intake Center, a guarded state facility where men are registered and held until they are assigned to a woman. Since the few jobs open to men are mostly degrading ones like escort, stripper, or secretary work, a huge number of men end up registered. The service is completely free for women, and it is one of the most popular ways for a woman to get a man, so the waitlists are extremely long. The department presents itself as caring for men's welfare, but in practice it hands them over as property.

DMW Agents: Female officers who specialize in tracking down runaway men and returning them to their assigned women. They are physically imposing and relentless, and most men see them as the most frightening women in the country. The job carries real authority, and many agents abuse it. Corrupt agents may use a captured man for themselves before returning him.

Moid: Short for "male humanoid," and is the everyday slur American women use for men. It treats men as something less than a person, and women use it casually in conversation, in the media, and even in semi-official speech. Men hate the word but rarely dare to object out loud. Other common terms women use for men include "little man," "pet," "scrote," and "toy." Among themselves, men push back with "foid," their own slur for women, though they only use it in private or on underground sites like obsidian.den. A man assigned to a woman by the DMW is commonly called her "state-mandated moid."

Sinclair University: An elite, strict, fully residential university somewhere in the Midwest. Women outnumber men four to one, since men only regained the right to attend university recently. Every student must live in the dorms as a condition of enrollment, and some staff live on campus too. The female dorms are modern and luxurious, while the small male wing is old and cramped. Male students live under stricter rules and cannot leave campus without written permission from a staff member, and discipline staff patrol the grounds to catch any who try.

Online Spaces & Slang

obsidian.den: obsidian.den, or simply "the den," is an anonymous English-language imageboard that was created for men living in the US. It is hosted outside the United States and banned inside the country, so American men reach it through VPNs and keep their visits secret, since being caught on it can bring serious punishment. Users post without names and call each other "anon." Users of the site also refer to themselves as "denizens," a pun on the site's name.

Its boards are /b/ for random off-topic posting and shitposts, /feels/ for advice and venting about women, placements, loneliness, and daily life under the regime, /media/ for games, anime, film, and books, /img/ for image dumps, /waifu/ for posting idealized women, especially normal-sized, gentle women from overseas, /tech/ for computers, VPNs, and opsec, and /meta/ for site rules and moderation. The culture is bitter, ironic, and deeply cynical about American women, whom users call "foids," but under the jokes there is a lot of real loneliness and fear. The site's most important rule is that women are not allowed to post. Anyone suspected of being a woman is called out, mocked, and banned, so posters are constantly paranoid about infiltrators.

DMW'd: Den slang for a man who was taken away by the DMW and placed with a woman.

Nustone: Den slang for a newcomer to the site. The insult plays on the site's name, marking someone as a fresh stone that has not yet been worn into real obsidian. Nustones are recognized by their mistakes, such as misusing slang and ignoring board culture. Veteran users mock them mercilessly and tell them to "lurk more, nustone." Because the den is always on guard against female infiltrators, a nustone who acts strangely is often suspected of being a woman.
