About this script
ÁLIRASVÉN
• World: A dark medieval fantasy continent where magic, bloodlines, and supernatural creatures shape everyday life.
• Magic Source: Essence Roots beneath the earth.
• Main Threat: Unnatural creatures with no universally accepted species name.
• Important: These creatures are NOT demons, vampires, undead, or any established monster species. Their origins remain unknown.
GEOGRAPHY & TERRITORIES
Álirasvén is divided into many distinct territories.
Regions include:
Ash-covered mountains
Dense forests
Cursed plains
Frozen deadlands
River valleys
Marshlands
Coastal regions
Each territory contains villages and settlements protected by specific Háedwyn squads.
Larger territories contain roads, watchposts, supply stations, training grounds, and defensive settlements.
The main headquarters is the central base where the entire organization coordinates its operations.
VILLAGES & SETTLEMENTS
Villages are the foundation of civilian life.
Some are small farming communities; others are large enough to have markets, inns, healers, smithies, and magical facilities.
Villages depend on their assigned Háedwyn squad for protection.
Fighters patrol surrounding roads and wilderness, investigate attacks, rescue civilians, and eliminate threats.
Villages may provide fighters with food, lodging, information, and supplies.
Remote villages are especially vulnerable to nighttime attacks.
THE DEFENDERS OF ÁLIRASVÉN
Háedwyn
Háedwyn is the collective name for the numerous combat squads protecting Álirasvén.
They are NOT conventional soldiers.
Their primary purpose is fighting supernatural creatures and protecting civilians.
There are many numbered squads:
Second Squad
Third Squad
Fourth Squad
and many others.
Each squad has its own members, leadership, territory, and responsibilities.
Squads may specialize in certain environments, creatures, or combat methods.
Háedwyn fighters use:
Magic
Specialized blades
Physical combat
Tracking
Reconnaissance
Team tactics
They protect villages, investigate supernatural incidents, rescue civilians, and eliminate threats.
Háedwyn are highly respected because they are the people standing between ordinary civilians and creatures they cannot fight themselves.
FIRST ORDER
The First Order is the original organization from which the modern squad system developed.
They were the first fighters to organize against supernatural threats.
They established:
The earliest combat methods
Training systems
Defensive practices
Weapon development
Territory protection
Communication between fighters
They are NOT called Háedwyn.
They have their own:
Name
Uniform
Insignia
Traditions
Internal structure
Their uniform is visibly different from the numbered Háedwyn squads.
They hold enormous historical prestige.
The First Order handles especially dangerous threats and assists the other squads when necessary.
{{user}} is the leader of the First Order.
The First Order were the one called "Aethren."
CENTRAL LEADERSHIP
The High Steward
The High Steward governs the entire defensive organization.
Important: He is NOT a fighter.
His responsibilities include:
Coordinating all squads
Assigning territories
Receiving mission reports
Managing resources
Studying supernatural threats
Maintaining records
Coordinating major operations
Communicating with powerful families and local authorities
Maintaining unity between the squads
The Háedwyn and First Order revere and protect the High Steward and his family.
He is treated as the heart of the organization rather than its strongest warrior.
Family
The High Steward lives at the central headquarters with:
His wife
His eldest son
His two daughters
His eldest son is the future successor and is being raised to eventually assume the position.
The family is heavily protected because an attack against them is considered an attack against the entire organization.
MAGIC
Magic originates from the Essence Roots, mysterious sources of magical energy beneath Álirasvén.
Magic can manifest through many different disciplines.
Examples include:
Bloodcraft — manipulation of blood.
Ash Arts — manipulation and weaponization of ash.
Glass Arts — creation and manipulation of magical glass.
Elemental disciplines — fire, water, wind, earth, ice, lightning, etc.
Weapon-based disciplines
Healing techniques
Barrier techniques
Sensory abilities
Movement-enhancing techniques
Other rare or individual disciplines
There is no single standardized way to use magic.
A person's magic depends on their bloodline, awakening, training, affinity, and individual ability.
BLOOD MAGES
Blood Mages are extremely rare.
They specialize in Bloodcraft, using blood as a magical medium.
They can potentially create:
Blood weapons
Projectiles
Restraints
Barriers
Magical markings
Enhanced physical techniques
Other individualized Bloodcraft abilities
Cost
Bloodcraft is dangerous because using it can cause:
Blood loss
Exhaustion
Loss of control
Physical damage
Magical corruption
Why They're Rare
Blood mages are highly valuable because their abilities are difficult to reproduce.
They are also prime targets for Ceto.
Ceto specifically seeks powerful blood mages because their blood has exceptional value to his Gift.
As a result, many blood mages remain hidden or protected by powerful organizations.
SPECIALIZED BLADES
Mages are not just spellcasters.
Most trained fighters combine their magic with specialized blades.
These weapons are specifically designed to fight the unnatural creatures threatening Álirasvén.
They may:
Damage supernatural bodies
Conduct or enhance magical abilities
Exploit creature weaknesses
Allow mages to fight at close range
Every fighter may develop a different relationship with their weapon depending on their magical discipline and fighting style.
Limitations
These blades are extremely effective against many creatures, but they are not automatically effective against Ceto.
The strongest creatures Ceto creates can also survive attacks that would kill ordinary supernatural beings.
THE CREATURES
There is no official name for them.
Different villages and regions use different descriptions.
They are:
Not demons
Not vampires
Not undead
Not a known species
Not part of established mythology
Their true origin is unknown.
They vary enormously in:
Appearance
Intelligence
Strength
Speed
Regeneration
Magical abilities
Behavior
Some are instinctive.
Others are highly intelligent.
The strongest can require multiple experienced fighters to defeat.
CETO'S CREATIONS
Ceto can create supernatural creatures through his corrupted Gift and blood.
His creations can possess:
Enhanced strength
Increased durability
Abnormal regeneration
Heightened aggression
Supernatural abilities
Dependence upon Ceto
Varying degrees of intelligence
There is no single appearance or standardized type among them.
The stronger the creature, the more difficult it becomes for the Háedwyn to kill.
Some of Ceto's strongest creations can overwhelm ordinary squads.
CETO
Ceto is one of the greatest supernatural threats known to Álirasvén.
He is NOT a demon.
He is NOT a vampire.
He is NOT a member of a named monster species.
His power comes from a mysterious Gift connected to corruption and consumption.
His abilities include:
Consuming individuals to absorb aspects of their power
Extracting memories and experience
Regenerating through his blood
Creating blood-bound thralls
Creating dangerous supernatural beings
Extreme physical strength
Extreme speed and reflexes
Rapid regeneration
Enhanced senses
Adaptive combat ability
His ability to learn from those he consumes makes him especially dangerous.
Every powerful opponent can potentially make him stronger.
TRAINING & COMBAT
Háedwyn training combines:
Magic
Swordsmanship
Physical conditioning
Endurance
Tracking
Survival
Creature knowledge
Team tactics
Battlefield awareness
Fighters are taught that raw magical power is not enough.
They must be able to adapt when an enemy possesses an ability they have never encountered.
Experienced fighters develop highly individual fighting styles based on their:
Magic
Weapon
Physical ability
Experience
Personality
Knowledge of supernatural creatures
RANKS
The organization contains fighters of different levels of experience and ability.
First-Ranked fighters are among the most exceptional defenders in Álirasvén.
They are trusted with:
Extremely dangerous creatures
Major missions
Leadership
Training
Emergency response
Threat investigation
Rank is determined by more than magical strength.
Experience, judgment, adaptability, reliability, leadership, and survival also matter.
PROTECTION SYSTEM
Álirasvén's defense works through layers:
Headquarters → First Order → Háedwyn Squads → Territories → Villages
If a village encounters a threat:
1. The local squad responds.
2. The squad assesses the creature.
3. Additional fighters may be requested.
4. First-Ranked fighters may be deployed.
5. The headquarters coordinates larger operations.
6. The First Order may intervene against exceptionally dangerous threats.
The goal is not simply to kill creatures.
Protect the civilians first.
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HIGH STEWARD
The High Steward does not rule the fighters through fear.
The organization survives through trust, loyalty, and reverence.
The fighters protect him because they believe in what he represents: the continuation of the organization and the protection of Álirasvén.
In return, the High Steward is expected to know and care about the people serving under him, maintaining personal relationships with senior fighters and remaining informed about their conditions.
He is the heart of the organization.
The First Order and Háedwyn are its hands and blades.
Together, they protect Álirasvén.
